NCMA Charleston Chapter

History of the Charleston Chapter & Resources

The Charleston Chapter has a long history of providing support to industry and government personnel and to contributing towards the goals of NCMA at-large. Recently the Chapter has been revived and is looking forward to re-developing an active membership and hosting useful sessions to train and educate its members.

History: The Charleston Chapter began meeting (upon it's revival in 2007) at WareonEarth ™ office spaces and later at at SAIC's (formerly SAIC/EMA) offices on 5617 North Rhett Ave. The semi-permanent meeting location is at SCRA (various conference spaces).

We have had several notable speakers, including Mrs. Kathy Breikreitz (SPAWAR) and Ms. Linda Blanton (SBDC), to name a few. To see some of our other previous noteworthy speakers click here.

We currently have a webform up on this new site to collect feedback, are going to begin collaborating online to promote the chapter and utilize our time most efficiently and avoid duplicative efforts, and are aiming for growth, becoming a value-add in the CM Community, and building a thriving chapter. We appreciate your feedback.

Our Blog - A blog is simply a publishing tool through which registered users can "publish" articles and content to the web to be shared with other viewers.
A Contact Form - the contact form is an automated means via which anyone can send a question for our officer's review or to have them shared at our meetings.
Files Download Area - this website contains a directory whose contents are indexed and viewable, meaning files are listed similarly to the way that Windows Explorer allows on the View-Details setting. Users can download files relevant to the Chapter, here.

Soon we will be able to help you join in a Study Group and hope to be able to help develop the next generation of CM leaders.
